First cycle of studies at SEEU- Undergraduate Studies

SEE University offers a variety of first cycle (undergraduate) 3 year (180 ECTS)study programs, with the opportunity to study in full-time or distance studies. Distance studies are a restructure of the earlier part-time studies.

SEEU promotes a flexible use of languages in all the study cycles. SEEU students can pursue studies in Albanian and Macedonian language and in 2008, the University began offering study programs completely in English, like Business Informatics and the new program Information Systems and Management, which is offered in collaboration with the University of London through the system for external studies with London School of Economics (LSE). This attractive program allows students after successful completion of the program to earn a dual degree, from SEEU and University of London.

Regardless of language of study, all SEEU students are required during their study to take classes in Albanian, Macedonian and English.

All programs offered by SEEU are accredited by the Accreditation Board of the Republic of Macedonia. The quality of programs is under continuous control by mechanisms for quality assurance, which include a very ambitious program of staff development, teaching observations and many other issues.

SEEU applies a wide range of assessment methods, which are designed in a manner that create the best opportunities to demonstrate your skills. These include written and oral examinations, projects and seminar works, and active participation. It is the only university in the region that publishes on-line the grades through the "e-grading," system. Through the portal of SEEU at "eServices", students are able to see their grades online within a few seconds after the posting announcement is made by the professor.

Lectures play a crucial role in teaching the topics and the most important issues related to the subject. Seminars and exercises provide structure for more detailed explanation and analysis. In this way, small groups are abled to analyze, discuss and exchange ideas with teachers in a personal setting.
