Institute for Environment and Health |
The Institute for Environment and Health was founded on 21 November 2005, under the framework of South East European University Tetovo, with the aim to provide organizational and developmental activities, to encourage science research and to promote and strengthen awareness and partnerships for protecting and improving the environment and health at regional and global levels. The institute is interdisciplinary and is comprised of 10 academic staff, 3 administrative staff, 5 external research associates, and 30 research students. The Institute is well equipped for field-based studies and has adequate computing facilities. Our contribution consists in progressing environmental and health issues, providing and developing program studies with adequate literature, providing good conditions for science-research activities, promoting the environment and health through public awareness, maintaining the library with a permanent literature collection and increasing our level of impact and professionalism through partnerships and corporations with regional and international institutions and organization.
