South East European University Marks Successful Completion of Erasmus+ Project at International Symposium in Ankara

South East European University (SEEU) took part in an international symposium hosted at Bilkent University in Ankara, dedicated to the evolving role of university libraries. The event marked the successful completion of the Erasmus+ KA210 project "Empowering Information Professionals."

The symposium brought together librarians and academic staff from Türkiye, North Macedonia and Norway to exchange good practices in digital transformation, open science and data management.

The project was coordinated by Elmedina Abdullahi, who led its implementation and the cooperation among partner institutions throughout. SEEU was represented by three distinguished speakers: Prof. Besnik Selimi presented on the use of AI agents in libraries, Prof. Florije Ismaili explored the transformation of libraries in the digital age, and Lumturije Mehmedi-Sinani highlighted the role of libraries in supporting student skills development.

Through initiatives like this, SEEU continues to advance modern, innovative library services, strengthen student support, and deepen its international academic cooperation.
