In his address, the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, emphasized that students are beginning their studies in an era of rapid technological changes, particularly under the influence of artificial intelligence. He encouraged students to develop critical thinking, ask questions, collaborate, and remain adaptable to change.
The Rector also invited them to be active participants in university life through projects, student organizations, exchange programs, professional internships, and voluntary activities. He extended a special welcome to international students, praising their contribution to the SEEU community and its diversity.
At the Skopje Campus, the new students were greeted by the Pro-Rector for Planning, Research, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, who welcomed them to SEEU and highlighted the importance of starting this new academic chapter. He encouraged students to make full use of the opportunities for academic, professional, and personal growth offered by the university during their studies.
On behalf of current students, the President of the Student Parliament and Association, Besjan Rexhepi, welcomed the freshmen and encouraged them to be active, raise questions, test new ideas, and seize the opportunities provided by the university. He emphasized that the student voice matters and that the Student Parliament is always open to supporting them throughout their academic journey.
Following the welcome ceremony, students proceeded to faculty meetings and academic orientation, where they became acquainted with the study programs, university services, and opportunities for involvement in student life.
Through student advisors, as well as administrative and support teams, the students had the opportunity to receive practical information and familiarize themselves with the services that SEEU offers to its student community.
