World Bank Presents Annual Report and Discusses with SEEU Academic Community

World Bank experts presented the annual report today and held a discussion with the academic community of Southeast European University (SEEU), at an event organized by the SEEU Faculty of Business and Economics.

A large number of students and members of the University’s academic staff attended the presentation, providing them with an opportunity to hear first-hand the perspectives of World Bank experts on economic and educational developments, as well as current challenges and future prospects.

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Blerta Abazi–Çaushi, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, who highlighted the importance of the University’s cooperation with international institutions and emphasized that the presence of World Bank experts at SEEU represents an important opportunity for the academic community.

As part of the event, the World Bank experts shared their perspectives on current issues in the fields of economics and education, offering analyses and insights based on their professional experience and research. The presentation was followed by an open discussion with the SEEU academic community, during which topics of interest related to economic development, the labour market, education, and public policy challenges were discussed.

The World Bank delegation consisted of Sanja Madzarevic Sujster, Senior Economist; Stefanie Koettl-Brodmann, Senior Economist; Bojana Naceva, Senior Education Specialist; Marko Josimovski, Economist; Aleksandar Stojanov, Economist; Arlan Brucal, Economist; and Anita Bozhinovska, Senior External Relations Assistant at the World Bank.

The organization of this event at SEEU demonstrates the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and international organizations, creating opportunities for dialogue, the exchange of expertise and ideas, and stronger links between higher education and economic and social developments.
