Minister Bajrami was hosted by SEEU's Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika; the Pro-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka; the Rector's Advisor for Communication and P.R., Demush Bajrami; and the Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences, Prof. Dr. Elena Andreevska.
During the meeting they discussed the deepening of cooperation in the field of higher education between South East European University and Kosovo's main universities.
Minister Bajrami emphasized the importance of this cooperation, which is developing in terms of expanding the areas--particularly in the second cycle of studies--where the interest of students from Kosovo to study at SEEU is very high.
Rector Dika affirmed that this very fruitful cooperation currently exists between the Ministry and the University, and emphasized that this cooperation must be maintained at the highest possible level. “Our students from Kosovo are our best ambassadors of what we are offering and distinguish us in the region in which we operate. With Minister Bajrami we have discussed the primary issues related to higher education in Albanian in the region and we noted the possibilities for more intensive and fruitful cooperation for both parties” he said.
In pursuance of this cooperation it is expected that Rector Dika will conduct an official visit to Kosovo, on the invitation of Minister Bajrami, which he extended during his visit to SEEU.
