University marked 28 November - the Albanian Flag Day

At this occasion, reflecting the glorious past of the national history it was said that 28 of November 1912 is day when the famous diplomat Ismail Qamili together with delegates from different Albanian territories hang out the national flag in Vlora.  "This event represents the final phase of the Albanian national renaissance  that corresponds to the proclamation of the independence  of Albania and at the same time witnesses for the development  of the national political awareness  of the Albanian people, without  religious differences”, said speakers.  They stated that these political events did not occur simultaneously since they were determined by the circumstances of time.

At this academy dedicated to the Albanian Flag Day, Demush Bajrami read verses from the authors of the Albanian renaissance. According to him this messages are actual even today. At the end, Muharem Etemi recited a poem dedicated to the fallen fighters for the Albanian rights.

Also, it is worth mentioning that at the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication at the SEE University several days ago 101 anniversary of the Albanian alphabet was marked.
