Rector Bexheti participates in the Inter-Rectors’ Conference

The topic of discussion of this conference is the internationalization of higher education in RNM and the increase of cooperation with higher education institutions in EU and world countries, in order to attract students to study in RNM.

The Erasmus program, student and staff exchange action, is a good basis for achieving this and therefore attention should be paid to the development of this program in universities.

In his address, Rector Bexheti emphasized that instruments and policies funded by the state should be created in order to promote the internationalization of universities, in order to catch up with the pace at which the labor market is developing. He also stressed that university study programs should be adapted and coordinated based on global strategic movements and determinations, enabling foreign students to make the easiest equivalent process of knowledge in their home countries.

At the end of his speech, Rector Bexheti requested an even stronger engagement of the National Agency in terms of achieving the goals set for the internationalization of higher education in the RNM.
