He will be giving lectures on intercultural communications, media systems and other topics related to American Studies during a five-week period beginning in early October.
In 2019, Prof. Fellner spent six weeks in North Macedonia as a Fulbright Specialist at Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. During that time, he also presented a guest lecture at South East European University’s Skopje campus on the importance of a free media in the development of democracy.
When Fellner isn’t teaching, he works as a freelance travel writer and photographer. He has visited all 50 U.S. states, over 120 countries and published more than 100 travel articles in various newspapers and magazines around the world.

The Fulbright Specialist Program provides awards to U.S. academics and professionals to work in partnership with academic, non-profit and cultural institutions in over 100 countries. Grants range from two to six weeks.
