Rector Bexheti participated in the 13th International Symposium on Health Sciences in Pristina

On Friday (September 17, 2022), Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti participated in the 13th International Symposium on Health Sciences, which was held in Pristina, organized by the Southeast European Institute for Social Policy in cooperation with Heimerer College. The main theme of the symposium was: "Innovations and Technology in Health Sciences", and representatives, scholars and researchers of the interdisciplinary fields of health and social sciences from dozens of Western European countries, USA and Brazil participated.

In his address speech, Rector Bexheti, apart from informing about the establishment of the new Faculty of Health Sciences at SEEU, also affirmed the great need of the labor market in accordance with demand and supply. At the same time, he also underlined the need for regional cooperation of health institutions and universities for the design and generation of project applications from the sphere of health and social welfare, for which European funds are available.

Rector Bexheti also used the opportunity for bilateral meetings with many researchers and leaders of scientific projects from this field with an interdisciplinary character of health institutes and faculties from Western Europe, in particular with those from Scandinavian countries, which are models for success in this field.

Rector Bexheti held a special working meeting with the president of the Heimerer College, Prof. Petrit Beqiri and Rector Prof. Dr. Naime Brajshori, with this college SEEU has a concrete cooperation agreement in the field of health sciences.
