Pro-Rector for international cooperation and research, Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, emphasized the importance of dealing with these current topics and thanked the OSCE mission for enabling the discussion of these topics at the University.
The panel was opened by Zhaneta Popovska, who spoke on behalf of the OSCE Mission in Skopje. She said that the OSCE mission has been dealing with issues related to gender rights for a long time.
Assoc. Dr. Arta Selmani, from the Law Faculty spoke on the topic "Unequal property rights and economic violence against women".
Nebahat Ziberi-Imeri, from the Center for Social Work from Tetovo, spoke on the topic "Violence against women in the Polog region".
At the end, there was a discussion between the panelists and the present students who asked many questions.
