Explore Campus 360°Dr. Farrington and Mr. Memedi at the EUA Meeting in Vienna
12 March 2010Dr Dennis Farrington, President of the University Board, and Mr Xhevair Memedi,MBA, Secretary-General, participated in the EUA meeting held to mark the conclusion of the first phase of the Bologna Process and the publication of the latest EUA ‘Trends’ Report on higher education in Europe. The meeting was held at the University of Vienna on 11 March 2010, coinciding with a meeting of Ministers from the 46 members of the Bologna Process. The Report indicated some further steps which should be taken in European higher education institutions to improve quality and 'fitness for purpose' particularly in relation to the first cycle. Although many of the ideas in the Report are already implemented in SEEU, we shall examine the recommendations as part of our ongoing strategic planning, curriculum development and quality assurance.
