Two books from the field of economics were promoted

In her opening speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Hyrije Abazi-Alili, said that books are an added value and must be part of everyone's libraries, especially for those who study in the respective fields.

In the capacity of a book reviewer “Consolidation and sustainability of the pension system of the Republic of North Macedonia: comparative analytical approach” of the author Ass. Prof. Dr. Shpresa Alija, the Rector Acad. Prof. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, said that the professor Shpresa, is debuting in a very important field such as the pension system.

“The book has a comprehensible structure and is accessible not only to economists, but also to everyone else because it explores a whole system, which in one way or another belongs to everyone”, said among other things Rector Bexheti.

Another reviewer, Drita Konxheli Radoniqi, also expressed her appreciation for the book, who emphasized the book's contribution to periodic forecasts and its influence in the field of the pension system, especially in the comparative aspect.

The author of the book Ass. Prof. Dr. Shpresa Alija thanked her family for their support, her mentor Academician Bexheti and all those who have contributed to the publication of the book.

"This topic drew attention to the need to consolidate the pension system since pensions are not a common issue and they have advantages, but also shortcomings, which are described in this book", said the author of the book, Ass. Prof. Dr. Shpresa Alija.

The promotion of the book “Economic-political thought in a unique form 2011-2023” of the author Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti it was opened by the publisher, Prof. Dr. Ylber Sela, director of the Institute for Political and International Studies.

“The author of the book, Academician Abdylmenaf Bexheti is a well-known name in the field of economics and the publication of this book represents an additional value in his opinion on economic and political events for the period described in the book", said Prof. Sela. He suggested that the book be translated into English and Macedonian.

Book reviewer --Prof. Dr. Ismet Osmani, spoke about the structure of the book, which is not only dedicated to economists, as it includes many aspects and describes a complex period of economic, but also political developments.

Prof. Dr. Ali Pajaziti, as a reviewer of the book, he said that he has developed an intensive communication with the author of the book, who has always been ready and willingly considered the sociological aspects and thought expressed in the book.

The author of the book, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, thanked the close collaborators who have contributed to the publication of the book, as well as his family, which, as always until now, has offered him maximum support.

“It is no coincidence that the reviewers of the book are not economists, because I wanted the book to be seen in more dimensions and not only in the economic aspect, but also sociological, political and beyond", said the author and SEEU Rector -- Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti.
