Through his involvement with the Agency in Brussels he performed assessment and evaluation exercises and activities regarding the improvement of research strategies on Partnership projects in HEI in Macedonia in the region and wider. The expert meeting focused on issues simulating research creativity, innovation and problems that need to be overtaken in order to produce highly qualitative research proposals on both CD as well as improvement of the overall research in HEI. During his assignment as an external expert, in cooperation with experts from HEI primarily from the EU countries, he was involved in several different lots including the ones from South and South East Asia, South America and Japan as well as some EU countries. He also gave constructive and professional expertise regarding proposals from several programmes, facilitating this way the position of some HEI in the R of Macedonia as members of project consortia from 3rd countries, including proposals where the SEEU was involved from the position of the Consortium member, such as the one with Gent University. His presence in such sensitive and challenging events regarding HE development and strategy was also proved a couple of years ago at the EU Commission’s ETF in Torino-Italy, giving him the opportunity to support his home institution projects by encouraging it to get involved and benefit from mega projects run by consortia composed by high ranked and reputational HEI in Europe and wider.
Dr.Florim Ajdini participated in the International Expert Meeting at the European Agency for Education and Science of the EU Commission in Brussels, held from 22nd till 27th of May
15 June 2011He was the only expert who succeeded to be selected and invited from the host, from all HEI in the Republic of Macedonia.
