The study program aims to provide a range of modules that will form the basis of information and advanced knowledge in the field of criminalistics and security studies aimed at training students to basic professions related to this field by providing solid specific and systematic knowledge on institutes and concepts of criminalistics and security, and on their situation and prospects in the region and world.
The Law Faculty diploma is recognized by the Chamber of Lawyers and Notaries in RNM. Exercise of legal professions requires formal registration in these rooms. Graduate of the Faculty of Law enables students to approach the relevant state bodies, especially in judicial branch as courts and public prosecutors. The Law Faculty has signed cooperation agreements with the Academy for training of judges and public prosecutors in the RNM. Students who will have the ambition to deal with scientific research work, the Law Faculty of SEEU, enables the continuation of the studies-PhD studies. Students in this program, are also professionally trained for all occupations in the field of national and international security, with particular emphasis on the practice of professions within the organs of security system in the country.
Knowledge and understanding
- Has advanced theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of national security system and reproduces knowledge about goals and safety standards;
- Has knowledge and insights on specific measures and preventive and repressive actions of the security in the context of crisis management situations and the priorities in the field of security;
- Possesses a detailed knowledge of understanding and acceptance of basic principles of professional ethics in the field of security;
- Has a specific understanding on the technologies and methodologies of research in the field of security;
Applying knowledge and understanding
- Identifies and implements policies, procedures and safety rules in the field;
- Identifies and analyses the most complex issues in the field of security, taking part actively in all phases of the implementation of policies, procedures and decisions in the field of security and the establishment of safety standards in organizations and institutions in the field security;
- Interprets and discusses contemporary issues related to complex risks, challenges and threats to security;
- Formulates plans, reports and strategic documents in the field of crisis management situations and to use techniques and control mechanisms of safety standards;
- Applies knowledge gained through the research process of solving complex and practical issues of security;
Making judgement
- Makes decisions for solving the most complex cases through research to create practical policies, procedures and decisions in the security field;
- Evaluates and differentiates safety standards organizations and institutions in the security field;
- Has advanced critical thinking by applying the method of analysis and comparison;

- Utilizes proper terminology for complex and specific issues in the area of security system.

Criminal Law (Applied Program)
The aim of this subject is to introduce students to criminal institutions, norms and principles in which criminal law is built. Criminal law as a positive law is a system of norms, by which certain behaviours of people are considered as a criminal offense, for which offenses are provided penalties and sanctions by the state, also are provided and defined conditions and ways of their implementation.

Criminology
This course aims to analyse the phenomenology and origin of crime. The aims of this course include the study of the forms in which crimes appear, their dynamics, structure and influencing factors. This course will analyse the internal, micro-group and external factors that influence crimes.

General Criminalistics
Through this course students will gain general knowledge about the science of criminalistics. This science contributes to the fight against crime by detecting and preventing it. This course will be processed in a theoretical and practical way (through active lectures, consultations, given literature, discussions with students, etc.). Purpose of this course is the preparation and training of students for use of criminalistics tools and methods used for discovering and clarifying the crimes and crime prevention.

Economic Crime
The aim of the subject is to recognize and analyse the criminal occurrences with economic character, their emergence and their characteristics, the multidimensional negative influence, the easy of revealing and giving light, the forms of emergence, and the institutions that in direct and indirect manner fight this crime.

Criminal Procedural Law (Applied Program)
Criminal procedure is a scientific discipline that studies legal norms that regulate the position of the parties as well as the competencies of the parties and other subjects participating in the criminal process, type, form and conditions for taking procedural actions. The subject of study is the system of legal remedies- regular and extraordinary as well as special procedures.

This course analyses the execution of criminal sanctions, the procedure of the execution of incarceration sentences, as well as non-incarceration sentences by analysing the Law on execution of sanctions and the Law on Probation.

Organized Crime
The aim of the subject is to enrich the students with knowledge on organized crime as a notion and phenomenon that is present in various fields of the society. In this context there will be analysed the elements that comprise the criminal situation with organized character, the corruption as a key factor, that has influence on this type of crime, the unique investigative measures that do affect the revealing, documentation and prevention of the organized crime, and the international cooperation role in the fight against the organized crime.

Computer Crime
Students will gain advanced knowledge on new types of crimes that are performed by computers and internet networks and modern ways of preventing it, which is highly developed in today's digital society. Will be analysed crimes such as computer fraud, counterfeiting of software, and other forms of internet abuse for criminal purposes. Will analyse the international and national legislation in order to gain solid knowledge on standards and global trends in this subject.

This course aims to analyse different aspects of the position of the victim of crime. The victimological phenomenology and origin will be studied, as well as the form, the structure and the dynamics of the victimization, as well as the factors it is influenced by.

Police Law
The objectives of the course program consist in the fact that students will: - Gain basic knowledge of police law, sources of police law, the legal framework, the responsibilities of the police and the internal organization of the police in the RNM; - Have detailed knowledge about the police law of the RNM as well as comparative information for the police laws in other states; - obtain individual critical thinking; - Be able to perform analysis and research on specific concepts and events relevant to the police law; - Have the ability to present the results of research, work in teams and debate; - Be able to apply the theory in practical cases in real life.

Master Thesis
This module enables students to transfer their skills and knowledge to research and make more complex task of Master-Thesis. The module is designed to be fully practical and students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to approach writing the thesis. The module has unique return result-to enable students to write the master thesis with minimal difficulties, and with maximum efficiency. The course aims to improve research techniques and style of writing paper, taking account to stop illegal means, such as plagiarism and infringement of copyright, which are prohibited by the Statute of SEEU.
