  This subject covers theoretical issues regarding the international institutions of universal and the regional level, their historical development, the role, functions and responsibilities. Especially is considered the question of their role in solving collective problems and issues in global politics. The focus is placed on their role in the area of peace and security, economic development, human rights, the democracy and the rule of law. The focus is on the main bodies within the institutions responsible for achieving the set goals.
• [MCPS1014] [6 ECTS] Conflict Resolution
  The course examines judicial and a non-court procedure for resolving disputes between states. Analysis includes the role of negotiations, mediation, reconciliation and the role of the United Nations for the peaceful resolutions of international disputes. This course examines the system of international arbitration: ad-hoc and within the already established tribunals as Iran-USA Claims Tribunal and ICSID. Studies will include practices and procedures of the International Court of Justice in both capacities as a mechanism for resolving international disputes on human rights, commercial law and maritime law.

  The course "Comparative Politics" aims to familiarize students with knowledge about most political systems in the modern world, of course without leaving aside the political systems of countries surrounding RNM and political systems of less developed countries around the world. This course is part of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in most schools of public administration, law faculties and the faculties of political science. During teaching this subject we will deal with parallelisms and comparative analysis between the functioning of the institutions of political systems in countries of interest, interrelated and in the case of the political system of the RNM towards finding good practices that would be promoted and political system of the RNM.

    The subject aims to enable students to define and illustrate the analysis of policy and its role in creating and transforming the information relevant for policy. There is no agreement on how precisely to define public policy. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with this field and to critically analyze the developments and events in the area of public policy. Analysis of public policies is a discipline for problem solving that draws knowledge of basic theories and methodologies of social sciences, the social professions and the philosophy of politics.

    Teaching of the course in Leadership and Organizational Development is introduced as part of a study program in Public Administration. The subject aims to enable students to learn how leaders and managers develop and implement the achievement of the mission and vision of an organization in the public sector; develop values required for long-term success and their application through appropriate activities and habits, as leaders and managers are personally involved in ensuring that management systems of the organization will be developed and implemented. Also about the way how the organization implements its mission and vision through a clear strategy based on the views of all interested parties, supported by all relevant policies, plans, goals and processes.

The course offers specialized training for the structure and mechanisms of diplomacy with extensive use of simulation techniques. Accent is given to writing and speaking skills, professional ethics, and negotiation techniques and studies the bureaucratic organization. The knowledge gained in this subject will greatly help to strengthen the knowledge and general knowledge of sustainable development at the international level at the level of the European Union and its member countries as well as in the RNM.

The term ‘linguistic nationalism’ has at least two forms of this nationalism, which collide with each other: for the leaders of the most powerful countries nationalism means expansion, and for minorities it takes the form of defiance and struggle for the affirmation of identity, despite such pressure. The emphasis during the program will be multiculturalism in education. In the schools curricula consists of contents from different cultures.

    The aim of this subject is: - To display the technical elements, the structure of the text and design of a scientific research. - To enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills from selected advanced chapters of IT applications that will be needed in preparing the scientific and research paper. - Practical application of these objectives in preparing student’s individual research paper.

Students will study the process for analysis of different communication situations, and will accordingly comprehend them.     On successful completion of the course, students will be able to: - plan the activities necessary to implement the project, identify their interdependencies, their duration and costs; - prepare the necessary reports and perform all the required communication between the project and the client, as well as among the team members and the other stakeholders. - structure the project to its constituent activities; - prepare a Gantt-chart and a network plan for the project and identify the shortest time needed to complete the project; - use MS Project as a tool in the process of planning, implementation and review of the project; - define the project, identify its scope and objectives and develop project specification;

    The aim of this course is to present techniques of modeling and optimization in order to prepare students for developing their ability to prepare models for solving real problems in the field of computer science. The course explore the importance of matrix factorizations as an important tool which offers modality for optimizing the solutions of different numerical algorithms which are of basic interest for problem solving in the area computer sciences. The course introduces optimization theory and approach to find the optimum. The different methods of optimization will be analyzed such as the simplex method, duality problem and sensitivity of the problems of linear programming. The aim is to explore a computer implementation for each of the problems followed by the proposal of the corresponding model for optimization.

  Main objectives of the course: - To gain basic knowledge of the term policy and management - Be familiar with basic tools and activities in order to to distinguish the political processes under different criteria. - To gain adequate knowledge for preparation of a survey and field working. - Application of knowledge gained from other objects and building a particular methodology for the preparation of essays-paper work. - To analyze the electoral process and the method of execution. - To prepare a political speech and to simulate the appearance of a political event. - Ability to actively participate in a debate organized by the Student Union. - Ability to prepare and participate in research project, and presenting the results of scientific research. - To determine different ways and use scientific sources, to study and read selectively and comparatively to analyze political processes.

  The module is designed in a way that students will become familiar with basic concepts of international public law, often identified with international law in general, which receives its bases in the seventeenth century, as the right of nations to witness the name of today's most important universal organization the United Nations. Students will become familiar with modern international public law which regulates the relations between states, between states and international organizations, relations of international organizations and the behavior of persons and legal persons for whom states and international organizations believe are important for the international community.

  Through an analysis of papers published in terms of foreign policy, the course will train students how the foreign policy tools can be applied to a concrete case study.     The course is focused on the development of those communication skills that are essential for effective functioning in the professional world. Students will study the process for analysis of different communication situations, and will accordingly comprehend them. Among the themes that will be covered are communication in organization, interpersonal and group communication, oral presentations, interviews for employment, professional business letters and interpersonal skills including group dynamics and teamwork.

    On successful completion of the course, students will be able to: - plan the activities necessary to implement the project, identify their interdependencies, their duration and costs; - prepare the necessary reports and perform all the required communication between the project and the client, as well as among the team members and the other stakeholders. - structure the project to its constituent activities; - prepare a Gantt-chart and a network plan for the project and identify the shortest time needed to complete the project; - use MS Project as a tool in the process of planning, implementation and review of the project; - define the project, identify its scope and objectives and develop project specification;
  • [MFE12] Optimization Methods
    The aim of this course is to present techniques of modeling and optimization in order to prepare students for developing their ability to prepare models for solving real problems in the field of computer science. The course explore the importance of matrix factorizations as an important tool which offers modality for optimizing the solutions of different numerical algorithms which are of basic interest for problem solving in the area computer sciences. The course introduces optimization theory and approach to find the optimum. The different methods of optimization will be analyzed such as the simplex method, duality problem and sensitivity of the problems of linear programming. The aim is to explore a computer implementation for each of the problems followed by the proposal of the corresponding model for optimization.

    The purpose of this course is: to introduce students with the concept of international law on human rights, their implementation, influence of those rights in the creation of national policies; to encourage students to critically reflect on the relationship between international law and national law; make them aware of current international events, how they affect the daily lives of people in the world; encourage students to contribute in matters of drafting laws for the protection of human rights hoping that, the law makers will consult them same during the creation and implementation of state policies.

• [MCPS4010] [30 ECTS] Master Thesis
  This module enables students to transfer their skills and knowledge to research and make more complex the task of the Master Thesis. Module is designed to be fully practical and students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to approach writing the paper. The module has unique return result-to enable students to write the master thesis with minimal difficulties, and with maximum efficiency. The course aims to improve research techniques and style of writing paper, taking account to stop illegal means, such as plagiarism and infringement of copyright, which are prohibited by the Statute of SEEU.
