Interior Design (2023-2024)

Study Cycle: First Cycle (Undergraduate)
Faculty: Contemporary Sciences and Technologies
Programme Code: ID-180
Academic year: 2023 / 2024
Title: Bachelor in Interior Design
ECTS: 180 (3 years) Accrediation
Decision: Decision for starting of the program

The Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies at SEEU - Tetovo is a higher education institution whose main task is to carry out higher education, research activities in the field of computer science, computer engineering, business informatics, data science, software engineering, architectural science and interior design. The justification for the introduction of the new study program stems from following the recommendations of the Bologna Declaration and the implementation processes of the previous accredited programs. Bearing in mind the need to enable a wider choice of compatible study programs, while justifying the concept of mobility of directions and students, with this program it is possible to select and choose a direction according to the affinities and abilities of each individual student. The direction is intended to respond to the request for greater compatibility with European and other world centers and universities where this study program is taught, while adapting it to specific market conditions. Especially, that the structure of the proposed study program leads from joint, to special, concentrated courses that define the direction based on realized practices and knowledge, and not based on an arbitrary choice. The gradual mastering of the material continuously separates the attention from the architectural-engineering to the artistic-visual and historical-philosophical domain in education, as a second factor of choice.

Students who successfully complete the program will be able to provide experienced planning services that include design analysis, space planning and aesthetics, specialized knowledge of interior construction, building codes, equipment, materials and furnishing.
