The Competition was officially opened by the President of the SEEU Board, Prof. Dr. Denis Farington, who expressed his satisfaction about the high quality of students competing. President Farrington awarded the prizes to the winners.
The contest was very competitive and the Committee had very hard work to choose the best ones since the differences among them were only in nuances.
Antonio Burevski, from the gymnasium “Gostivar” from Gostivar took the first prize. The second prize went to Lirza Emini, from the Medical High School –Tetovo. The third prize winner is Emilija Georgievska, from High School of Economics “8 September”- Tetovo.
Runners-Up: Simona Biskoska (Woodrow Wilson School - Tetovo), Arbnora Miftari (Gymnasium “Kiril Pejçinoviq” – Tetovë), Arnen Telqiu (Gymnasium “Zef Lush Marku”-Skopje), Halime Presheva (High Technical School – Preshevo) and Ema Bliznovska (Gymnasium “Kiril Pejçinoviq”- Tetovo).
The first three places were awarded money by the University.
Shakespeare Recitation Competition
25 April 2016High school students from Macedonia and the Preshevo Valley showed their excellent recitation skills in the Shakespeare Recitation Competition which was held on Friday, 22nd April 2016. This contest was organized by the English Language Department--Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communications to honour the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.
