Members of the SEEU Mountain Hiking Association, accompanied by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, inaugurated the anniversary celebrations by putting the SEEU Flag on the milestone of the peak.
It is worth mentioning that South East European University in Tetovo began operations on 20 November 2001, although its history dates earlier, when the OSCE High Commissioner, His Excellency Max Van der Stoel, initiated an institution to provide education in the Albanian language in higher education in the Republic of Macedonia.
Construction of the University was supported financially by large international donors like the USA, EU countries, the Council of Europe and the OSCE.
Based on the educational system of the European Higher Education Area (Bologna System), SEEU follows the pattern of standardized studies on several levels: first, second and third cycle (3+2+3).
