The Head of the German department on this occasion thanked the embassy representatives for their interest in SEEU respectively, German Department. He emphasized that this kind of initiative contributes in developing further cooperation between SEEU and the German Embassy.
The embassy representatives highly valued the work of the German Department, which contributes in preparing future German teachers for teaching German as a foreign language and also plays a very important role in spreading German language in the region. It was pointed out that the German embassy is interested to support the German department and continue the excellent cooperation that exists between two institutions. Definitely, our Institution which produce good German teachers with years, plays an important role in integrating our country to UE.

Frank Stössel, the first secretary, and Sonja Bohnet, the leader of the press sector at German Embassy in Skopje, had a working meeting with German Department on November 3, 2009 where they met with the Head of the German Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Gezim Xhaferi. The embassy representatives also met with Prof. Dr. Robert Schmitt-Brandt, a German professor at the German Department, sent by Johann Gottfried Herder foundation. The activities of the German Department were one of the main aims of this working meeting.
