Certificates from the Leadership and Youth Work in the Community Program awarded

On Wednesday, 15th November 2009, at the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science (FPAPS), South East European University, certificates from the one year programme Leadership and Youth Work In Community Program (Level A/first semester - 30 ECTS and level B/second semester - 30 ECTS), were awarded. These were implemented at SEEU in cooperation with the Institute for Education and Communication of the Joncheping University (HLK), Sweden and the Centre for Non-formal Education “Triagolnik”, Macedonia.
It should be noted that this programme is based on the positive experience, in education of youth workers in Sweden and Great Britain, adapted to local needs. The participants were evaluated based on their acquired skills and abilities for youth work.
On the occasion of the conferment of certificates the Pro-dean of Second Cycle Studies at Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science, Prof Dr Jonuz Abdullai said “All those ones that followed this programme, now are ready to face with challenges of the profession youth worker in community, this means that you are prepared, trained and skilful staff to work with this community”.
Present at the ceremony were Dean of Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science, Prof Dr Etem Aziri, the Executive Director of the Centre for Non-formal Education “Triagolnik”, Macedonia, Zharko Trajkov and the representative of NGOs from the Republic of Kosova, who is one the coordinators of this programme from the TEMPUS Project.
