About 70 percent of SEEU graduates employed in the first year after graduation

Graduates of South East European University, according to data from the Career Center, continue to be attractive for the labor market in North Macedonia and the region.

The overall employment rate of SEEU graduates, according to the latest report of the SEEU Career Center, is 69.84% and the unemployment rate is 30.16%. From the total number of employed graduates, 83.73% are full-time employed, 9.03% are self-employed (they own their own business), 4.81% are part time employed and 2.40% are doing internships.

Graduates of the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies have the highest employability rate with 79.48%; Faculty of Business and Economics with 63.29%, followed by the Faculty of Law with 54.23%, the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication with 53.33% and the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences with 43.10%.

Related to the period of employment, the data for 2019 show that 33.13 % of SEEU employed graduates were employed before graduation, 25.90 % within 01-03 months; 9.03 % within 04-06 months after graduation, and 7.83 % more than one year after graduation.

The data of the Career Center prove that the students are satisfied with the studies and the study conditions at the University. The majority of second-cycle graduates are continuing their education at SEEU (85.60%) of the total number of graduates participating in the survey, and 97.62% would recommend South East European University to other students.

SEEU Career Center has collected data from the total number of graduates in 2019, and the survey was conducted in the period from 22.02.2021 to 15.03.2021.
