Members of the Syrian Constitutional Committee visited SEEU

Members of the Syrian Constitutional Committee, as part of the study visit to North Macedonia, organized by the European Center for Kurdish Studies in Berlin in cooperation with the Institute for Federalism of the University of Fribourg, on Tuesday (September 27, 2022), visited the South East Europe University.

At SEEU they had a meeting with the Pro-rector for Research and International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi and Secretary- General, Dr. Xhevair Memedi.

The purpose of the visit was that members of the Syrian Constitutional Committee to get familiarized with the functioning of local self-government in the country, the functioning or non-functioning of decentralization, the protection and conditions of communities, as well as the way of building an inclusive state.
