International Symposium Successfully Held at SEEU

Over the past two days, at South East European University (SEEU), organized by the “Max van der Stoel” Library, the International Symposium was successfully held within the Erasmus+ KA210 project “Empowering Information Professionals: Digital Transformation through Collaboration between Turkey, Norway, and North Macedonia.”

The symposium brought together professors, researchers, librarians, and professionals from various countries, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Through engaging presentations and discussions, participants explored key topics such as artificial intelligence in academic environments, digital transformation in libraries, open access, data management, and innovative practices in information services.

Day 1 focused on institutional experiences and international digital practices, including visits to SEEU’s university facilities. Day 2 continued with sessions on digital strategies, case studies, and the transformation of libraries and cultural heritage in the digital age.

SEEU remains committed to organizing international events that strengthen academic cooperation and contribute to the development of digital competencies among information professionals.

We sincerely thank all speakers, participants, and partners for their valuable contribution to the success of this symposium and look forward to future collaborations.
