This marked the fourth edition of the competition organized by the Halimi Foundation, with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tirana.
Sixteen teams from the law faculties of the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Kosovo, and the Republic of North Macedonia participated in this edition.
Following weeks of intensive preparation and three rounds of verbal arguments, the SEEU team successfully secured third place, ranking among the top three teams of this edition. The SEEU team distinguished itself through its professional delivery and outstanding performance across all rounds of the competition.
The jury highly praised the level of legal reasoning, the quality of procedural briefs, the oral presentation, teamwork, as well as the readiness and professionalism in answering questions posed by the judges and opposing teams.
It is worth noting that this is the third consecutive time that students from the SEEU Faculty of Law have participated in this prestigious competition, with the SEEU team previously triumphing in first place in 2024.
This continuous success demonstrates the commitment of the SEEU Faculty of Law to the academic and practical preparation of its students, creating conditions and opportunities for them to develop professional skills, critical thinking, and legal competencies at an internationally competitive level.
The SEEU Faculty of Law ranks among the top three best teams in the Nationwide Moot Court Competition in Tirana
18 May 2026The team from the Faculty of Law at the South East European University (SEEU), composed of fourth-year students Flutura Xhemaili, Amina Ademi, and Remzije Abazi, under the leadership and mentorship of Prof. Dr. Vedije Ratkoceri, has successfully won third place in the nationwide moot court competition "University Law Competition 2026," held on May 16 and 17 in Tirana.
