Prime Minister Berisha congratulated his guests from Macedonia for their commitment to the development of higher education in Albanian language in Macedonia and on this occasion he appreciated the contribution of the academic community in both universities.
The Albanian Prime Minister held a presentation and an overview on the developments and reforms in the field of higher education in Albania, as well as steps towards economic progress and infrastructure development undertaken by the Albanian government in this regard.
The universities’ delegation from Macedonia in the meeting informed Prime Minister Berisha regarding the development of the institutions they manage, expressing their views about the current trends in educational policy in the region and beyond. They also expressed the idea about the possibility and various forms of deepening the cooperation between higher education institutions and academic communities of Albania and Macedonia.
