Currently, the demand for studies continues to grow within the limited space in Skopje. For this purpose, the South East European University Board asked the Rector to develop a long-term plan, including as an alternative, the development of the project in Saraj.
Now, we can say that the first steps have been made in this direction. So, the day before the Council of the municipality of Saraj supported by the Mayor of this municipality, Mr. Bekim Murati, approved the request for exemption from payment of municipal fees (taxes) for the regulation of construction land (utilities) related with the construction of South East European University campus.
After this crucial phase, the university is in the process of seeking investors, where it is planned that by 2015, if there are interested partners- investors to begin implementation of this important project of higher education. In this case, it is expected that the University will expand the range of programmes at both undergraduate and graduate studies, strengthen scientific research and entrepreneurial capacities.

28 February 2013The expansion of the university campus in Skopje in September 2008, was completed with the recruitment of students according to SEEU’s expectations in both first cycle and second cycle programmes, this is result of the diversity of the study programmes in Albanian and Macedonian language of instruction, but also study programmes in English, which were designed by international experts depending on market requirements.
