Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Digital Transformation in the focus of traditional SEEU staff training

The South East European University (SEEU) launched today its traditional two-day training for academic and administrative staff, which this year is being held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Digital Transformation.”

In his presentation on the strategic directions and vision of the University, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, emphasized the importance of transitioning from the consolidation phase toward a new stage of university development, highlighting the need for continuous progress across various areas of university activity in line with the changes and demands of the times.

The focus of the training also included AI@SEEU, featuring the session “Academic Frameworks of AI,” presented by Prof. Dr. Florije Ismaili. Regarding developments in the field of scientific research at SEEU, the Pro-Rector for Planning, Research, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, delivered a presentation. The achievements and portfolio of the “Max van der Stoel” Institute were presented by the Director of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Veli Kreci, while the applied innovation projects of the Business Innovation Centre (BIC) were presented by its director, Avni Arifi. The program also included a presentation on the student transfer process by Driton Asani and Dëshira Imeri, with a focus on aligning processes and workflows.

The training aims to advance the professional competencies of the staff and exchange experiences regarding the use of new technologies in academic and administrative processes.
