The “Max van der Stoel“ Institute wins the first bilateral project from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs
14 July 2021July 14, 2021, ESPLORADO Project (Development of internationalization and interdisciplinary approach to study programs and research) developed by a team consisting of Veli Kreci, Albulena Halili and Bujar Sinani, within the "Max van der Stoel" Institute at South East European University and Frédéric Spagnoli, Frédéric Peneau and Julia Wyssling from the Franche-Comté University in France, has received the approval of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe. The project has been selected from thirty applications from the Western Balkans and will be supported by the Solidarity Fund for Innovative Projects, Civil Society, Francophonie and Human Development operating within this Ministry.

Graduation ceremony of the seventeenth SEEU generation was held
12 June 2021At South East European University, today (June 12, 2021), the Graduation Ceremony of the seventeenth generation was held. The event was attended by the President of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferri, the Minister of Education and Science, Mila Carovska, the Minister of Finance, Fatmir Besimi and the Ambassador of Slovenia, Milan Predan, as well as many parents and families of SEEU graduates who threw their hats symbolically to mark the completion of the first cycle of their studies.

Debate on youth employability - SEEU with structured offer in line with labor market demands
27 May 2021Institute for Leadership and Public Policy, today (27th May 2021), in Tetovo, organized a panel discussion, on topic: "Employment and employment opportunities for young people in the country." The main panelists were: the US Ambassador to North Macedonia - H.E. Kate Marie Byrnes, Rector of South East European University - Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, the Mayor of Tetova -Teuta Arifi, and the Director of the Employment Agency of North Macedonia - Abdush Demiri. The debate was moderated by Pranvera Kasami, Director of the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy.

A memorandum of cooperation is signed between SEEU and Normak Investment Group on student employment opportunities
16 April 2021The Rector of the South East European University- Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti and the General Director of Normak Investment Group AD Tetovo, Aleksandar Zarkov, today (April 16, 2021), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for establishing direct communication between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Normak Investment Group, Mr. Aki Etemi.
