Faculty of Law of South East European University becomes member of the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA)
19 February 2021The Faculty of Law of South East European University from 3rd February this year formally has become a member of the prestigious network of law faculties - the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA). Members of this network are law faculties of well-known European universities, such as: University of Zagreb, Ljubljana, Zurich, Vienna, Edinburgh, Lincoln, Salzburg, Brussels, Graz, Dublin, Copenhagen, etc. Membership of the SEEU Faculty of Law, among others, enables it to participate in all activities organized by the ELFA.

Youth Resource Center officially opens - a project implemented by SEEU
18 February 2021At a special ceremony, today (18.02.2021), in Gostivar officially the Youth Resource Center was opened. The opening of this center is supported through a project of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and co-financed by the Municipality of Gostivar. The project is implemented by the South East European University.

Exhibition of one-semester works of the Architecture and Design students was opened at SEEU
12 February 2021The Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, today (12th February 2021), declared open the Exhibition with the works of students in the study program Architecture and Design. It is the first time in North Macedonia that an exhibition of works by students of this study program has been organized since the first semester.

Actor Bajrush Mjaku visited SEEU and donated the book “Urtësi dhe Marrëzi”
3 February 2021The well-known Albanian actor and creator, Barjush Mjaku, today (February 3, 2021), visited the South East European University in Tetovo and on this occasion donated some copies of his latest book “Urtësi e Marrëzi” (Wisdom and Insanity) to the SEEU Library "Max van der Stul". The internationally renowned actor, Bajrush Mjaku was received by the Rector Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, with whom, in a friendly atmosphere, they exchanged views on educational current issues and theatrical culture also.

South East European University is ranked second in North Macedonia according to Webometrics
3 February 2021The well-known international website Webometrics, in the latest list published at the end of January, ranked the South East European University in the second place, among the best universities in North Macedonia, right after the University of Skopje "St. Cyril and Methodius”. SEEU's academic and scientific performance is also being proven at the regional level, where it is ranked third immediately after the University of Tirana and the University of Prishtina and the first of all Albanian universities with similar status and private ones.

Deepening of cooperation between SEEU and the Italian Embassy

24 December 2020South East European University successfully closes this calendar year despite many challenges, especially health ones. This statement was made public by the Rector of SEEU, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, in the traditional end-of-year meeting with journalists, which was held today (24 December 2020), and attended by the entire management team, the pro-rectors Prof. Dr. Besnik Fetaji, Prof. Dr. Adrian Besimi, and Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, as well as the Secretary- General, Dr. Xhevair Memedi and Quality Advisor Prof. Dr. Veronika Kareva.

The Virtual and Augmented Reality Lab was opened at SEEU
23 December 2020The Virtual and Augmented Reality Lab was opened (on 22nd December 2020) at the South East European University with a solemn event. This is the first laboratory of this nature supported by NATO SPS projects and is equipped with the most modern tools in this field.

During 2020 SEEU donated about 50 computers and equipment worth over 100 thousand euros to primary and secondary schools
