• Conference participants of the Fulbright Academy visited SEEU

  The Fulbright Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) held the 4th annual conference in Macedonia, from 2-24-27, March, 2009. The theme of the conference was ‘Small places can change the world’, and there were over 40 participants from different countries, including: the USA, Israel, Croatia, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Romania, etc.

  The Rector and the President of the Board attended the 5th EUA Convention of European Higher Education Institutions held in Prague, 18-21 March 2009, on the topic 'Facing Global Challenges: European Strategies for Europe's Universities.' The Rectors of SS Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje and St Kliment Ohridski University, Bitola, and a Vice-Rector from the State University of Tetovo were also present.

• Representatives of German language department on study visit to German universities

  Professors from SEEU-German language department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gezim Xhaferri and Dr. Klaus Schuricht- professor emeritus from the Foundation Herder, from 11th until 20th February 2009, have made a research trip in several German universities, where they had meetings with well known professors of the German language in the University Humboldt in Berlin

• Development of Master Programs in the Field of Education

  South East European University through Tempus IV Project, successfully is implementing the Project for design of new curricula for Master Studies in Education. The Project is consisting by consortiums of the following universities: University of Rome 3, University of Aarhus-Denmark, University of Nottingham-Great Britain, and from the Western Balkans are SEEU, University of Tirana and University of Prishtina.
